Call To ActionHelp Pass TPA About 30 percent of the crops and 10 percent of the meat we produce in America are shipped overseas. We can’t sell it without strong trade agreements. And we can’t have strong trade agreements without Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) for the White House. Formerly called Fast Track, TPA allows Congress to vote "yes" or "no" on trade agreements the White House negotiates. Congress is prevented from amending the deals because no nation will take our negotiators seriously if they think agreements are subject to massive changes. At press time, Congress was preparing to decide whether or not to grant TPA to the White House. Call your representatives and ask their support for TPA.
