OFBF Sponsors Summer Teacher WorkshopsMany educators earned college credits during the summer at OFBF sponsored teacher workshops. Course instructors helped teachers find agricultural resources for future classroom use. Some of the courses were Applied Sciences in the New Millennium; Science in the Real World; Science Alive in the Classroom; Breads of the Harvest; Barnyard Animals in the Curriculum; Food from Plants; Hydroponics in the Classroom; Food, Land and People; and Harvest A to Z. Workshops were held at the Mahoning County Ag Center in Canfield, the OSU campus in Lima, OSU in Columbus, and Lake Farmpark in Kirtland. | |
