Reward Program Pays Off

Christine Hanson, left, was presented a $1,500 reward check for information she provided that led to the arrest and conviction of men who had committed crimes in Henry County. Hanson noticed a car stopped at her neighbor's farm; she saw men trying to enter one of the buildings. When the men saw a light come on, they fled the scene. Hanson was able to identify the vehicle and give a description of the offenders to the Henry County Sheriff's Department, which located the vehicle and discovered that the offenders had committed crimes at several other rural homes. Also pictured are Buckeye Area Supervisor Kent Fisher and Henry County Sheriff's Deputy Fred Reinbolt. (Photo submitted by Henry County Farm Bureau.)

Ohio Farm Bureau's $1,500 Property Protection Reward is paid to anyone giving information that leads to the arrest and felony conviction of anyone committing a crime against a Farm Bureau member's property.

Jon Clapper, left, was presented a $1,500 reward check for information he provided that led to the arrest and conviction of persons who had been stealing ATVs in Muskingum County. Clapper was returning from work when he noticed an ATV in the road and a van nearby. He spoke to the driver, while being careful to memorize the van's license plate number and the driver's description. Clapper called 911 with this information, and the sheriff's department was able to stop the van, which contained an ATV owned by Bob Seyerle, also pictured.
