Lewis Jones
Chief, Dairy Division
ODA

For six years Lewis Jones is a six-year division chief at ODA where he heads the licensing, regulatory and inspection programs of the Dairy Division. This division oversees sanitation and production practices of Ohio's Grade A and Manufacture Grade dairy farms, processing plants, tankers and weigher-sampler-testers. Jones recently was elected secretary-treasurer of the Dairy Division of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.

Before joining ODA, he spent eight years with Federal Order 33 of the Milk Market Administration and 13 years as a grain terminal operations manager with Pillsbury in Cincinnati and Minneapolis. He earned his bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University.

Jones and his wife, Carol, live in Grove City and are the parents of four adult children.
