Faces Jim Ramey Jim Ramey has operated Ohio’s office of the National Ag Statistics Service (NASS) since 1988. The NASS mission is to provide timely, accurate and useful statistics to U.S. agriculture. Each year, NASS conducts hundreds of surveys and prepares reports covering production, supplies, prices, farm size, labor, wages and many other facets of agriculture. He received a B.S. in farm and ranch management from Colorado State University and a Master’s in agricultural economics from the University of Arizona. Ramey previously held various NASS jobs in Wyoming, Minnesota, Washington, D.C. and Wisconsin. Ramey and his wife, Sandy, are the parents of two children and reside in Dublin. He is active in the Dublin Music Boosters and is chairman of the buildings and grounds committee of the Dublin Community Church. | |
