John Wargowsky
Director of Labor Services

John Wargowsky says the best thing about working for Ohio Farm Bureau is helping the members.

"What I enjoy most about my job is being an advocate for our members," Wargowsky said.

This quality helps Wargowsky in his current position as director of labor services and the executive director of Mid American Ag and Hort Services, a regional labor organization.

Wargowsky came to OFBF in 1983 as an organization director. In 1993, he became the director of advisory councils. In 2000, he was named director of business services, which included duties for the Ohio Fruit Growers Society and the Ohio Vegetable and Potato Growers Association.

He has served as national executive director for Alpha Gamma Sigma agricultural fraternity and is on the board of directors for the Fraternity Managers Association. Wargowsky received his bachelor's degree in agriculture from The Ohio State University. He resides in Delaware.
