River Valley Area membership recognition took place March 23 at Clinton County Fairgrounds. To qualify for the trip, members had to sign five members, with at least two being new. The qualification period was from membership kick-off through March 15. Volunteers were eligible for door prizes and were treated to a steak or chicken buffet. The top active member signer and overall signer was Sandi Lang of Scioto County. The top new member signer and top new active member signer was Ed Motz of Hamilton County. Both received an award and certificate from Mike Fearon, director of membership. "Our volunteers really deserved this recognition after a hard-fought membership campaign," said Paul Lyons, River Valley supervisor. | |
