Profiles Staff Larry Antosch came to Ohio Farm Bureau just three years ago to the newly created position of director of environmental research. Antosch works with Farm Bureau members as they expand their commitment to protecting Ohio’s public and private natural resources. "When I first joined the Farm Bureau three years ago, everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I instantly felt at home and a member of the Farm Bureau family," Antosch said. "Developing and implementing programs for Farm Bureau members related to the protection and enhancement of water quality has been very exciting. Everyone is eager to learn and participate." Antosch spent 13 years with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to that he worked for the Institute for Research on Land and Water Resources with Penn State University, and the Iowa State Water Resources Research Institute. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, his master’s in environmental science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and his doctorate in water resources from Iowa State University. Larry and his wife, Karen, live in Columbus with their two children. | |
