Faces Nancy P. Hollister Nancy P. Hollister, R- Marietta, is serving her second term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She serves on the Veterans Affairs sub-committee, and the Public Utilities, Retirement and Aging committees. She is vice chair of the Ohio Bicentennial Committee and chair of Energy and Environment. In November 1994, Hollister made state history by becoming the first woman ever elected lieutenant governor in the state of Ohio. She later went on to serve for 11 days as Ohio’s first female governor. She also served on the Marietta City Council and was elected mayor from 1984 until 1991. Hollister is a member of the Marietta College Board of Trustees, the Ohio Farm Bureau and the Marietta Chamber of Commerce. Nancy and her husband, Jeff, continue to reside in Marietta where they raised five children. | |
