Fisher Inducted to Animal Science Hall of Fame OFBF Executive Vice President Jack Fisher is the 2002 Ohio State University Animal Science Hall of Fame honoree. Fisher graduated from Ohio State with a bachelor degree in animal science in 1967 and a master degree in animal science in 1969. The Special Recognitions Committee of the faculty makes the selection from departmental faculty and staff and alumni nominations. Nominees are considered who are bona fide animal science majors who graduated 20 or more years ago and whose major activity is in an area related to animal science. Fisher was named to receive the honor in recognition of his career achievements and service on behalf of agriculture. Fisher is pictured with James Kinder, chair of the department (left) and Keith Irwin, animal science professor. Fisher's portrait will hang in the Animal Science Hall of Fame in the Animal Science building on campus. | |
