Mike Kocher
Crawford County

Mike Kocher has served as the Crawford County Farm Bureau president for four years. Kocher has long been an active member, participating in advisory councils and the membership committee and serving as Crawford County Farm Bureau vice president.

Kocher and his wife, Brenda, were OFBF’s Outstanding Young Farm Couple in 1992.

"Farm Bureau is our voice in agriculture. Being a member is a way to get our concerns heard both in the legislature and in the public," Kocher said.

On their MKB Farms, they raise corn, soybeans, wheat and cattle.

"Mike has been and will continue to be a valuable, indispensable asset to the county Farm Bureau," said organization director Steve Angel. "He is a real people person and liked by everybody. His leadership skills are second to none and it is a great pleasure to work with him."

The Kochers have two children, Heather, 14, and Nickolas, 12. They are members of the First Lutheran Church and reside near Galion.
