Dale Arnold
Director of Energy Services

Dale Arnold began his career at Ohio Farm Bureau in 1985 as the organization director for Coshocton, Holmes, Knox and Licking counties. He moved to the state office as director of the advisory councils program in 1990. In 1993 he was named regional supervisor for the southeast region. He took the job of director of commodity and market information in 1995. He accepted his current position in 1998.

In this role, he deals with energy and electricity programs, PUCO, Ohio Consumers Counsel, utility deregulation and energy efficiency and energy education programs. Arnold also acts as the executive director of the Ohio Christmas Tree Association, executive director of the Ohio Land Improvement Contractors Association, and serves on the Ohio Farm Bureau Development Corporation. His responsibilities to these organizations focus on Christmas tree marketing and production, conservation and environmental construction and construction safety.

"People have power in numbers, " Arnold said. "Energy aggregation, product promotion, educational program efforts – I enjoy working with groups of farmers, contractors and interested consumers who want to make things better."

Arnold received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Ohio Dominican College. He and his wife, Lori, are the parents of three children, Mallory, Mackenzie and Madison. They reside in Newark.
