Faces Ann Womer Benjamin Rep. Ann Womer Benjamin, R-Aurora, is serving her fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She is chair of the Criminal Justice and House Judiciary committees, a member of the Higher Education Funding Commission, the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission, the Criminal Institution Inspection Committee and the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation. She has practiced law for more than 20 years and has been with Arter and Hadden in Cleveland for more than 15 years, where her practice focuses on estate planning, probate and probate litigation. Womer Benjamin received her bachelor degree in political science and German from Vanderbilt University magna cum laude and her juris doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Womer Benjamin is running for the 17th Congressional District in northeast Ohio. She, her husband and two daughters reside in Aurora. | |
