Nationwide's Web Site Expands Customer Access

"Customer Choice" is part of Nationwide's plan to work with each customer whenever and however a customer may choose – through an agent, by calling toll-free (877-On Your Side), or over the Internet at www.nationwide.com.

While most OFBF members prefer doing business directly with an agent, many have found Nationwide's Web site to be a helpful tool in getting insurance quotes, locating a Nationwide agent and checking information about existing policies.

For current customers, MyNationwide is a customized online insurance function that allows personal access to your policies any time. Most accounts can be activated immediately with a policy number and Social Security number. With MyNationwide, you can:

  • Report a claim. By completing some basic information online, you can get the claims process started.
  • Check on a claim. Find who is handling your claim and get accurate information with which to contact the right person.
  • Request policy changes. You can add a new driver and request other policy changes online at any time.
  • Request an insurance card. You're required to carry an insurance card in each vehicle. If you can't locate yours, submit a request and a replacement card will be mailed to you.
  • Understand your coverage better. Sections such as Learn About can help you get a clearer picture of your individual policy protection.
  • Get the latest savings and safety tips. MyNationwide offers ways to save on insurance and tips to keep you and your family safe.
  • Pay your bill. Find your payment amount and due date. You can also pay your bill online by credit card, or set up an automatic electronic funds transfer.

If you're shopping for insurance, you can find Online Quotes at Nationwide's site, and request a quick quote by completing one information page. By providing a few more details, you can receive a personalized and detailed price quote.

In some cases after obtaining a quote, you can purchase a policy online. If you'd prefer to talk with an agent about coverage needs, use the Agent Locator to find a Nationwide representative close to home or work.

Nationwide's Web site, combined with the expert help of a nearby agent, is designed to make insurance transactions faster and easier for Farm Bureau members and other customers.
