Ron Dickerhoof
Ashland County

Ron Dickerhoof has been active in Ohio Farm Bureau activities for 25 years. He was president of Ashland County Farm Bureau for three years and currently serves as vice president. He has also served as the chair of his county’s promotion and education committee, policy development committee and of the local drive-it-yourself farm tour. Dickerhoof has worked the membership campaign in his county for many years.

He and his wife, Becky, have started five advisory councils during their tenure as members. Dickerhoof has served on the state finance advisory council and the state committee to redesign the OFBF $1,500 reward program. He has been a delegate to OFBF’s annual meeting for the past six years.

"Ohio Farm Bureau is the only organization in Ohio that has enough political clout and big enough voice to make a positive impact for agriculture," Dickerhoof said.

He is a dairy nutritionist for Gerber Feed Services in Dalton. He and Becky have four children and live in Hayesville.
