Profiles Staff Lynn Snyder joined Ohio Farm Bureau in 1991 as communications specialist. She was named assistant editor of Buckeye Farm News in 1993. In 1994 she was promoted to associate editor for Ohio Farm Bureau’s official publications. She is responsible for writing and photography, story idea development, editing and other communications projects. "The best part of my job is recognizing members for their involvement and achievements. I love going out to their farms and homes to do an interview or photo shoot. I've also enjoyed seeing the diversity of agriculture in my travels across the state," Snyder said. She is a member of the Columbus chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and served as secretary, special events coordinator, volunteer coordinator, communications coordinator and vice president of internal relations. The group named Snyder volunteer of the year in 2001. Snyder graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She and her husband, Jon, reside in Dublin and are members of Northwest Presbyterian Church. | |
