Profiles Volunteer Ed Motz has served on just about every committee possible for Hamilton County Farm Bureau in the 50 years he’s been a member. He’s worked very hard on membership and policy development. He also was president of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau board many years ago. "I see (Farm Bureau) mostly as a way to express our desires in legislature. The state staff works very hard for the farmers," Motz said. "The quality of the people who work for Farm Bureau shows they are working for us." Motz and his family operate a sod production business. Motz is also a partner in a maple syrup operation. He is a member of the Ohio Maple Producers and the Ohio Nut Producers. Motz also has been active with the Anderson Township Historical Society. Motz and his wife, Carol, have eight grown children and reside in New Town. They are members of St. John Fisher Church. | |
