Shining stars

Fifteen county Farm Bureaus received the maximum number of stars for outstanding programs in 2002. County Farm Bureaus were recognized for their achievements during the Parade of Presidents at the Harvest Banquet during the 84th OFBF annual meeting in Cincinnati. Counties were eligible for stars in the following program areas: agricultural ecology, advisory councils and young farmers, government affairs, information, marketing information, membership, promotion and education, policy development, safety and youth programs.

10 star counties
Ashtabula , Columbiana, Delaware, Franklin, Fulton, Gallia, Henry, Mahoning, Morgan, Pike, Portage, Stark, Summit, Wayne, Wyandot

Nine Star counties
Ashland, Butler, Clark, Coshocton, Darke, Erie, Harrison, Jefferson, Logan, Lorain, Medina, Ottawa, Scioto, Seneca, Trumbull, Tuscarawas

Eight Star Counties
Allen, Belmont, Brown, Carroll, Champaign, Crawford, Hardin, Jackson/Vinton, Lucas, Mercer, Montgomery, Perry, Putnam, Sandusky, Shelby, Union, Van Wert, Williams, Wood

Seven Star Counties
Auglaize, Cuyahoga, Defiance, Fairfield, Geauga, Highland, Huron, Lake, Marion, Morrow, Noble, Paulding, Richland, Washington

Six Star Counties
Clinton, Fayette, Hancock, Lawrence, Madison, Miami

Five Star Counties
