Profiles Volunteer John Feller has been a Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau member for only six years, but has immersed himself in activity since that time. He has been the government affairs chair for three years and has worked on the membership committee for four years. "I always knew Farm Bureau was a good organization, but I had no idea how much they got done," Feller said. "On the political end, Farm Bureau does great things for farmers in Columbus and Washington, D.C. I know that farmers would be in big trouble without Farm Bureau." Feller farmed with his father growing up. Since he retired from teaching, he farms full-time. He now runs a cow/calf operation and raises grain and hay. He and his wife, Myra, have two children, Brian, 25, and Amy, 18. They live in New Philadelphia and are members of the Zion Lutheran Church of Stone Creek. | |
