Judy Roush,
Promotion and Education Specialist

Judy Roush originally came to Ohio Farm Bureau in 1992 as the executive director of the Agriculture Awareness Council, the group charged with managing Ohio’s Agriculture in the Classroom program.

In 1998 she was brought into the OFBF state office as a promotion and education specialist. She is responsible for specializing in educational projects including professional development for teachers. Roush is the state contact for the USDA Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) program and is serving on the AITC Consortium Executive committee.

"I love working at Ohio Farm Bureau. The folks in the state office and in the field are a joy to work with, and the members around the state are the best! Because of the support of the members, I am rejuvenated every day to promote and educate about agriculture," Roush said.

Before working for Ohio Farm Bureau, Roush worked in the family business and early in her career, she taught high school. She has a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in home economics.

Roush and her husband, Roy, live in Pickaway County. Two of the Roush’s three grown daughters work in the family agricultural business.
