Profiles Staff David Rule has worked for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) for nearly 20 years. In 1983, he started as an organization director (OD) for Lucas, Ottawa and Wood counties, and in 1986, he became the OD for Delaware, Franklin and Union counties. From 1989 to 1993, Rule was the county office and leadership development specialist in the state office until he was named regional supervisor. In 1994, he was given his current title of director of technology and staff development. "Seeing volunteers develop and grow as leaders within the Farm Bureau organization and in the agricultural industry is exciting," Rule said. "Interacting with Farm Bureau volunteers and helping to support their efforts makes it all worthwhile and rewarding." Rule graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. Prior to his career with Farm Bureau, Rule did seed research for Growmark. He and his wife, Suzanne, have three daughters, Angela, Elyse and Nicole. They reside in Dublin and are members of the Meadowbrook Christian Fellowship church. | |
