Profiles Volunteer Marijane Raber of Guernsey County said she never dreamed of not being a Farm Bureau member. Raber got involved with the Young Farmers in Guernsey County and has been a dedicated volunteer ever since. "While involved with the Young Farmers I met my husband, Randy. We became members of the State Young Farmer Committee," Raber said. "Farm Bureau is a great way to be involved with other farmers and share in the successes and losses with people who know exactly what you’re going through." Since her days as a Young Farmer, she has served as the secretary for the Guernsey County Farm Bureau board, promotion and education chair and on the membership committee. Currently, she is the Guernsey County Farm Bureau vice president. Her family runs a dairy, beef and crop operation in Antrim. Raber also serves as the secretary for the parent/teacher organization at Madison Elementary. She and Randy have three boys, Jonathan, 10; Nathan, 10; and Casey, 6. They attend the Byesville Trinity Methodist Church. | |
