Bud and Belva Barnthouse
Warren County

Bud and Belva Barnthouse are a team when it comes to volunteering for Warren County Farm Bureau activities. Currently, they share duties as promotion and education chairmen. They also have served on the county board, as membership chairmen and as delegates to the OFBF annual meeting.

"We like getting involved and knowing what’s going on in agriculture. We also like to help and bring new ideas," Belva Barnthouse said. "But most of all, we’ve certainly met so many nice people through our involvement in Farm Bureau."

The Barnthouses raise beef, hogs, soybeans, wheat and hay. Their farm was recognized by the governor and the Ohio Department of Agriculture as a Century Farm two years ago.

Bud and Belva have two daughters and three grandchildren and reside in Mason. They are members of the Lebanon Farmers Club, Monroe Grange in Butler County and the Bethany Methodist Church in Middletown.
