Fulton County to host Camp-In Come to Fulton County Fairgrounds July 24 to 27, 2003 for the 34th annual OFBF Camp-In, a weekend camping trip for the whole family. Directory of Advisory Councils and Camp-In Coordinator Chip Nelson said Fulton County offers the right blend of agriculture and history for an enjoyable weekend.
"Guests will have the chance for fellowship at meals and social events, but also can get out and about to see the Fulton County sites," Nelson said.
Following is an abbreviated schedule: July 24 Check-In, evening games July 25 Bus Tour, stops include Schmidt Brothers Greenhouses, Lange Tree Farm, O'Neil's Carrot Farm and Rupp Seed Company Potluck dinner July 26 On Your Own. Fulton County attractions include Harrison Lake State Park, Maumee State Forest, Sauder Village, Christmas Manor and Oberhaus Enterprises. Toledo is nearby and offers the Toledo Zoo, COSI and the Toledo Mud Hens baseball team. Ice Cream Social and entertainment begin at 7:30 p.m. July 27 Community Church Service The bus tour is limited to 220 people and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost for the tour is $15 per person. In addition, camping fees are $15 per site per night. All registrations received in the OFBF office by June 20 will be included in a special early registration prize drawing.
