Collegiate members win awards

Several members of the Collegiate Farm Bureau received awards during the 2002-2003 Agricultural and Natural Resources Banquet, "Making a World of Difference."

Carrie Pickworth and Elaine McConnell were recognized as two of the Top 10 Seniors in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Pickworth was secretary and McConnell was vice president for Collegiate Farm Bureau this year.

Anna Leis and Jesse Dotterer were recognized as top scholars for the freshman class.

Amanda Hardesty received the award as the most active first-year student, and Collegiate Farm Bureau adviser Joe Donnermeyer received the Service to Students Award.

Collegiate Farm Bureau President Heath Eisele received the School of Natural Resources Lee Johnson Leadership Award.

Stephanie Shertzer received the Medard A. J. Ruehle Scholarship.

The organization was nominated as one of the top three organizations on the agriculture campus, and the Collegiate Discussion Meet was chosen as one of the top two new activities on campus.
