Volunteer
Dwight Beery
Ross County

Dwight Beery believes in supporting farmers and agriculture, and that’s why he believes it is important to be a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.

"Farm Bureau supports the farmers," Beery said. "Farm Bureau is essential to keep people in farming and keep it profitable."

Beery has served as agricultural ecology chair, on the county board, as a delegate to the OFBF annual meeting and as a member of the candidate screening committee for Ross County Farm Bureau.

Beery is retired from DuPont. He operates a small farm where he grows hay. He also is in the process of developing a sustainable forest on his property. He is hoping to grow timber as a crop.

He is a member of the Local Senior Squadron 1402 Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the Air Force. He also is a committeeman of the Republican Party in his county.

Beery and his wife, Martha, have three grown children and reside in Frankfort.
