Kathy McGranahan
Paralegal

Kathy McGranahan joined the government affairs department of the Ohio Farm Bureau as a paralegal in 1997.

She is responsible for researching Ohio case and statutory law based on member inquiries using the Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Administrative Code and legislative history. She also conducts Internet searches and gathers background data from agencies that are pertinent. McGranahan offers resources and tools to assist members in making knowledgeable decisions.

"I enjoy the challenge of providing information to the staff that benefits our members on local and statewide issues that affect the agricultural industry and property rights," McGranahan said.

Prior to working for OFBF, McGranahan was a manager for an insurance agency. She is still a licensed property and causality insurance solicitor and a notary public.

McGranahan graduated from Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and earned a paralegal certificate from Capitol University Law School. She is a board member of the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio and an associate member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

McGranahan resides in Dublin.
