Clark Kellogg to speak at Leadership ConferenceCBS basketball analyst and former Ohio State basketball great Clark Kellogg will be the wrap-up speaker at this year's Leadership Conference, Aug. 14 and 15 at Columbus Marriott North and Sanese Services.
A Cleveland native, Kellogg played at Ohio State from 1979 to 1982, where he led the team in scoring and rebounding in both his sophomore and junior years. He was All Big Ten and the conference's most valuable player in 1982. He was the Indiana Pacers number one draft pick and named to the NBA All Rookie Team. He ended his professional basketball career after five years because of chronically bad knees, and moved into the Pacers' broadcast booth where he has provided television analysis for 13 years.
He is in his ninth year with CBS Sports' NCAA Men's Basketball Championship coverage; Kellogg joined CBS full-time in 1997 as studio/game analyst. He has co-hosted CBS Sports' Final Four coverage since 1997.
In 2001, he received the Ohio State University Distinguished Service Alumni Award and was enshrined in the Ohio State Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002. He and his wife, Rosy, and their children reside in Columbus. Canned food drive Volunteers are asked to bring canned, nonperishable foods to the conference to support the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Mid-Ohio Food Bank supplies food for private, nonprofit organizations serving 20 central and eastern Ohio counties and provides social services to low-income families. Last year, volunteers donated nearly 400 items. Schedule changes Members will be able to attend the Ohio State Fair Thursday evening. A continuous bus service will run from the hotel to the fair throughout the evening. Dinner coupons for the Ohio Food Pavilion will be provided, and an ice cream social will be held at the Nationwide Agriculture & Horticulture Building's Land and Living exhibit.
