Irene Messmer
Chief Financial Officer

Irene Messmer serves Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) as chief financial officer (CFO). She was named to the post in 2001, and as CFO, administers and oversees OFBF’s accounting and financial functions. Prior to her promotion to CFO, she was the director of accounting and finance functions for the organization.

"I have enjoyed working with the members and assisting our county farm bureau with their financial needs," Messmer said.

Messmer also manages her own accounting service. Before coming to OFBF, Messmer was a senior accounting clerk with Countrymark and office manager with GTE Telesystem.

She is a graduate of Franklin University with a degree in accounting.

Messmer and her husband, Rocky, have four sons, Tony, Brian, Adam and Jeffrey. They reside in Canal Winchester. She attends St. Mary’s Church in Groveport and has been actively involved in the Canal Winchester Schools as a volunteer, holding various positions.
