Join the Leadership Circle

This article was published in 2003.

The Ohio 4-H Center has already benefited tremendously from the contributions by county Farm Bureaus, Ohio Farm Bureau (OFBF) and Nationwide. In the process of counties learning about the funding effort for the 4-H Center, many members wanted to know what else they could do to help. Now to help further the funding campaign for the center, Farm Bureau members have the unique opportunity of joining the Ohio Farm Bureau Leadership Circle – Friends of 4-H.

The Leadership Circle, made up of the first 250 donors at the $1,000 level, will help continue Farm Bureau’s long-standing tradition of 4-H support and partnership. Contribution commitments may be paid over a four-year period, and can be made by individuals or groups of supporters. The donations will go to the Nationwide/Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center located on the campus of Ohio State University (OSU).

The 4-H Center will serve as the home of Ohio 4-H and provide research, teaching resources and service opportunities.

"Many Ohio Farm Bureau members are or have been linked to 4-H. They know the youth are our key to the future, and this facility will honor and sustain Ohio’s tremendous 4-H program," said Jack Fisher, Ohio Farm Bureau executive vice president.
