The Readers WriteDear Editor, We enjoyed Michele Payne Knoper’s article in the Aug. 25 issue of Buckeye Farm News "Fair time is education time." How true! Just like Michele wrote, "The youth who display at the county fairs work diligently on their projects and take pride in what they do." We do need to educate people how animals and farmers bring us the food we need daily. Most children nowadays don't get a chance to see a cow, let alone get to see one milked. What an eye opener for most children. They only see the carton that milk is poured from. What better way to learn than at the county fairs?
