AgriVisor, the commodity marketing advisory service from the Illinois Farm Bureau, will be available over the Internet to OFBF members at a reduced annual cost of $99. This special offer will continue through March 2004 and represents a $136 savings from standard AgriVisor fees and is $200 less than when delivered through DTN.

As part of the subscription service, AgriVisor Market Advice is updated twice daily, once at mid-day and again after the markets close. The service’s market commentary is updated four times a day. Advisers offer buying recommendations for cash grain and livestock markets, and a daily update of widely followed market technical studies.

AgriVisor also will offer its weekly roundup of commodity markets, called the Cash Strategist, via e-mail for free to OFBF memebrs. The column that has appeared on page 5 of Buckeye Farm News will continue at least through April 2004.

Effective Dec. 31, Cingular Wireless will no longer have a member service contract with Ohio Farm Bureau. More details about this change and how it could affect current Cingular customers will appear in future issues of Buckeye Farm News as it becomes available from Cingular.
