Through Nationwide Advantage Mortgagesm Company, a subsidiary of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, OFBF members can apply and quickly be approved for a home mortgage – online or over the phone. Auto insurance Farm Bureau members with less than perfect driving records are now eligible for deviated rates on their Nationwide Auto Insurance. Until recently, only individuals with extremely clean driving records were eligible for Ohio Farm Bureau preferred rates through Nationwide. During the first six months of 2003, a total of 6,022 new policies were issued for Ohio Farm Bureau members through this auto insurance program. Benefit revised Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company debuted a new farmowners policy in Ohio, aimed at addressing the coverage needs expressed by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) members. The new policy contained broader coverages and numerous upgrades. Many of the changes reflect suggestions made by OFBF members who voiced their opinions in focus groups and surveys conducted by Nationwide during the past two years.
