Wendell Layman
Coshocton County

Wendell Layman has been a Coshocton County Farm Bureau member for nearly 50 years. He currently serves on the county board and as the Nationwide Sponsorship Coordinator. In the past, he has served as president, vice president, delegate to the Ohio Farm Bureau annual meeting and membership co-chair. He also has helped to coordinate the Coshocton County Farm Bureau annual meeting.

"Being a member of Ohio Farm Bureau is important because it’s the best way for farmers to have their voice heard. Representation in the legislature is our biggest advantage," Layman said.

Layman raises Belted Galloway beef cattle, corn and hay. He also is a retired construction plumber and pipe fitter.

He and his wife, Joyce, are members of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church and reside in Fresno. Layman has four children, four stepchildren and 13 grandchildren.
