Roy Norman
Organization director for Fulton, Henry and Williams counties

After completing a three-month internship with the Ohio Farm Bureau, Roy Norman signed on full time in 1991 and has served as the organization director for Fulton, Henry and Williams counties ever since.

As organization director, he acts as liaison between the county Farm Bureaus and OFBF. He assists the county groups as they develop and implement programs to strengthen the organization and enhance its ability to serve its members. Recently, Norman also has served the members in Hancock County as interim organization director.

"Since my days as a member of Huron County Farm Bureau Youth Council, I have enjoyed working with people who are interested in promoting and protecting agriculture," Norman said. "I get a great deal of satisfaction working at the grassroots level helping our members become leaders in Farm Bureau and their community. Farm Bureau people are truly good people, and they have treated me and my family very well."

Norman is a 1991 graduate of Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in agriculture with a major in agriculture economics. Norman also farms 100 acres with his father in Norwalk and is beginning to raise beef cattle, sheep and Newfoundland dogs in Wauseon. He is a 4-H adviser for the Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H Club and coaches his daughters’ soccer and softball teams. Norman is currently serving as secretary treasurer of the Pettisville Business Association.

Norman and his wife, Anna, have two daughters, Samantha, 8, and Christina, 3, and reside in rural Wauseon. They attend Trinity Lutheran Church.
