Soybean Rust confirmed in LouisianaUSDA has confirmed that soybean rust has been identified in two university test plots near Baton Rouge, La. At press time, USDA, universities, state agriculture departments and the American Soybean Association were implementing their action plans. The Ohio Department of Agriculture has obtained emergency exemptions for the appropriate fungicides and taken other actions to be prepared if soybean rust reaches Ohio.
