Profiles Staff Karen Lotus joined the staff of Ohio Farm Bureau in November 2001. Her duties included administrative support for OFBF’s promotion and education programs, including Agriculture in the Classroom. Her job has transitioned into a multimedia specialist role. She currently is designing a new Our Ohio Web site, coordinating annual meeting audio/visual presentations and is completing video editing duties for the new Our Ohio television program. She will provide ongoing video editing for Our Ohio television when the show launches in spring 2005. Lotus has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology from DeVry Institute and an associate’s degree in multimedia production from Columbus State Community College. The Geauga County native is the mother of two daughters and enjoys gardening, music, cooking and her dog, Lola. She resides in Columbus. "I enjoy working at Ohio Farm Bureau – not only do I love the work I do here and the involvement with agriculture, but I also enjoy the people I work with," she said. | |
