Farm Bureau names communications specialistSeth Teter has joined the OFBF staff as communications specialist. He will be responsible for a variety of writing assignments for Buckeye Farm News and Our Ohio as well as other communications projects. Teter also will handle photography duties and assist Farm Bureau volunteers who serve as County Information Coordinators. He is a recent graduate of Ohio State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Prior to joining Farm Bureau, he was a freelance writer, and while in college, he wrote for the campus newspaper The Lantern. According to Kurt Ely, OFBF vice president for information, education and community services, "Seth brings a great deal of enthusiasm to the job, and he’s committed to helping the farm community. He’ll make a great addition to our communications team." Teter is a native of Fayette County. He and his wife, Lyndsey, reside in Columbus and are involved in Mosaic Church. "Growing up in a rural community showed me the importance of agriculture. I am very excited to be a part of the work Farm Bureau does for Ohio farmers," he said. | |
