Profiles Volunteer Wanda Founds and her husband, Virgil, have teamed up on many Farm Bureau projects in their 22 years as Muskingum County Farm Bureau members. Currently, they are members of the Wild Bunch advisory council and co-chair the advisory council/young farmer committee. They also are working together in this year’s membership campaign. Previously, they served on the county policy development committee together. In addition, she was information coordinator for six years. They are the parents of five children and have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They are members of Central Trinity United Methodist Church where they attend the Pairs and Spares Sunday School class, the Thursday morning Bible study and serve on the missions committee. Wanda recently retired as the church’s office assistant. She still serves as church financial secretary. The Founds operate a 236-acre hay and beef farm. "As far as the benefits, there are many," she said, but chiefly she appreciates Farm Bureau’s strong support of farmers. She also said they have met a lot of new friends and have had a lot of good fellowship through Farm Bureau. | |
