Regional Cabinet meetings reinforce skills Five regional cabinet meetings were held in February and early March for county committee chairmen and coordinators. In addition to training sessions for each program area, chairmen heard from OFBF Executive Vice President Jack Fisher regarding Ohio’s budget situation and its potential impact on tax reform and Medicaid reform. Fisher told the volunteers we all need to look at the big picture regarding the budget and encouraged them to read, listen and study. (See story on page 1.) Also, county presidents were brought up to speed on the details of the annual president’s trip to Washington, March 8 to 10, and promotion and education chairmen were able to view the Our Ohio television pilot. County Farm Bureaus have received copies of the pilot to share with members. | |
