Tiffin Middle School sixth-graders assisted in planting the tree. Students learned that trees are important for the air, people’s health, recreation, shade and aesthetics. "April has two very important but often skipped over days, Earth Day and Arbor Day, and we wish to call attention to both of these and alert students to their importance," said Alice Luhring, promotion and education chairwoman for the county Farm Bureau. | |
