The
Our Ohio television crew has been on location shooting
video for upcoming television segments. Topics include the history
of Malabar Farm and its farm market (Richland County), Amish life
(Holmes County), covered bridges (Preble County), strawberries
(Clinton County), a barn turned into a Bed and Breakfast (Marion
County) and behind the scenes with the Ag and the Arts project
(Clark County).
Out and About: North Market Food and Wine Festival
Our Ohio hosted a display at the annual Food and Wine
Festival at the North Market in Columbus on July 9. Farm Bureau's
famous Giant Corn Climbing Wall was also on hand to entertain
visitors. Thousands of central Ohioans attended this event, which
marked Farm Bureau's first opportunity to participate by promoting
agriculture through the
Our Ohio brand.
Vintage Ohio
Come to Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland for
the annual Vintage Ohio festival, Aug. 5 and 6. OFBF and county
volunteers from Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lake county Farm
Bureaus will be available at the
Our Ohio tent. Visitors can view clips from the television
show and leave with
Our Ohio giveaways. Farm Bureau is a People Mover sponsor
again this year.
