Train the trainer programs focus on equine issuesFive train the trainer programs have been scheduled for agencies and organizations interested in hosting a local Equine Environmental Assurance Program. Program objectives include becoming familiar with the Equine Environmental Assurance Program, creating awareness of issues that must be addressed by Ohio's equine industry and becoming more familiar with best management practices that apply to those issues. The training programs are a partnership of the Ohio Livestock Coalition, the Livestock Environmental Assurance Program and OFBF. Participation in the program is required to be eligible for cost-share assistance that may be provided to offset the cost of hosting a local training session.
