Bob Wentling
Stark County

Bob Wentling has been a Farm Bureau member for 35 years or more. He has been president and vice president of Stark County Farm Bureau as well as advisory council and young farmer, Nationwide sponsor and government affairs chairman. He also has volunteered on the county membership campaign, served on the county policy development committee and on the OFBF policy development committee. He has been a delegate to the OFBF annual meeting several times. He and his wife, Gloria, have organized and assisted with the county farm tour and were awarded the Stark County Farm Bureau Distinguished Service Award in 2000.

They are members of Strasburg United Methodist Church and are parents of four grown children. They raise corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and hay on their 900-acre farm and raise a few beef cattle. They also do some custom planting and harvesting for other farmers. Wentling currently is a township trustee and a member of the Wooster Federal Credit Union board of directors.

"I believe it is important to support your community, business and way of life. Farm Bureau does that and has the number of members to get things done," he said.
