Tractor pull attracts people of all ages

Seventy-eight people got a brief workout while competing at the eighth annual Pedal Tractor Pull sponsored by the Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau.

The participants, ranging in age from 3 to 83, competed for first, second and third place trophies in six different age categories. The event was held at the Cuyahoga County Fair on Aug. 13. More than 300 people attended the tractor pull, said Anita Cook, organization director for Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau.

Each participant received a 2005 pedal pull T-shirt donated by Nationwide Insurance agents in Cuyahoga County and candy bags donated by BA Sweetie Candy Co. The county Farm Bureau also sponsored several events during the fair that week.
