Where to watch
The Our Ohio television series debuted on most Ohio public television stations Oct. 1. Here is where to watch the show in your area:
WPTD Dayton – Saturdays at 6 p.m.
WPTO Oxford – Fridays at 9 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.
WEAO/WNEO Akron/Youngstown – Sundays at 6 p.m.
WGTE Toledo – Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. (Beginning Dec. 17)
WOSU Columbus – Sundays at 11 a.m.
WOUC Cambridge – Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m.
WOUB Athens – Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
WPBO Portsmouth – Sundays at 11 a.m.
WVIZ Cleveland – Sundays at 3:30 p.m.
WBGU Bowling Green – Saturdays at 8 a.m.
Ohio Government Channel – Tuesdays 3:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m.

On the radio
In early September, the following stations began airing commercials to promote the Our Ohio television series. The commercials are scheduled to air through Nov. 25. Listen for them from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

In the next magazine
The November/December issue will feature a story about Humphrey’s Popcorn Balls and the two families who carry on the company now – the Dudleys and the Hazels. Ohio Farm Bureau and Universal Rx are adding health care benefits, which are introduced in the member benefits department. Home and Garden takes readers to a Christmas tree farm and offers tips for selection. Marietta is featured in the travel department’s small town shopping theme. Health benefits of tea are featured in the Healthy Living department, sweet snacks are the featured recipes and the history and importance of canals is the other feature story.

Our Ohio at Easton
On Oct. 16, the Ohio Apple Marketing Program hosted its annual cider contest at Easton Town Center in Columbus as part of the center’s Ohio Proud Fall Harvest. Our Ohio show co-host Emily Masters was a contest judge. This year’s winner ADD NAME was selected based on taste, color and clarity. Consumers were given Our Ohio program information and other giveaways.
