About 150 people attended the Morgan County Farm Bureau Country Christmas, which featured door prizes, charity items and Santa Claus.

The second annual event was held Nov. 25 in conjunction with the Malta/McConnelsville Christmas parade and offered refreshments, children's activities, holiday music and information about Farm Bureau. After the parade, people were invited to the Riecker Building Community Room for the Christmas party. Each Farm Bureau committee chair set up a table with information about how the committee contributes to Farm Bureau on a local, state and national level.

Those attending had the opportunity to win a door prize at each committee chair's table as well as a chance at a $50 gas card if they donated toys, nonperishables or items for soldiers. Children also received a framed picture of themselves with Santa.
