For the first time, OFBF is hosting Ohio State University Farm Policy and Market Outlook Conferences in conjunction with the cabinet meetings in Zanesville, Xenia and Fostoria. The OSU meetings are in the same location as the cabinet meetings and run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. They will provide updates on food demand, grains, farm policy, technology and energy. The cost is $5 for Farm Bureau members and $7 for nonmembers. "Ohio State has a great tradition of putting on farm outlook meetings and we see this as a great way to promote them by holding them with our cabinet meetings," said Chris Henney, OFBF's director of ag ecology programs.
