Regina Mayhugh joined the staff of Ohio Farm Bureau in 2004. In her role, she provides program and administrative support to assigned Ohio Farm Bureau Development Corporation staff members and specified directors of contract organizations and associated commodity check-off and certification programs. Previously she was a veterinary surgical technician in a dog/cat bone specialty clinic and a field agent for the Ohio Rural Community Assistance Program. She has an associates degree in veterinary technology from Columbus State Community College and a bachelors degree in agricultural education from Ohio State University. She grew up and currently resides in Pickaway County. She has raised and shown rabbits for 26 years and previously raised sheep, chickens, ducks and goats. She participated in 4-H and FFA as a youth. She and her husband Sean have Standardbred horses and are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. They are the parents of a new baby, Samantha. "I like working with an organization that cares deeply about Ohios No. 1 industry and whose mission is to promote agriculture while educating the public so that we may better preserve the industry for the future," she said. | |
