Members who sign at least two members, new or renewal, are eligible to attend Ohio Farm Bureau’s Statewide Membership Celebration June 24. Members have until May 1 to sign as many members as they can to qualify for the event; members who qualify also are able to invite a guest.

According to OFBF Director of Membership Activities Mike Fearon, Farm Bureau members who attend the celebration should leave plenty of room in their cars to take home all of the prizes they will be eligible to win, such as electronics, home and garden gifts, tools, housewares, gift certificates and more.

The event will take place at the Ohio State Expo Center in Columbus. The celebration will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The John Schwab Band has been booked as entertainment.

Members can qualify for the following prize levels:

• Leader – Sign two to five new members.

• Champion – Sign six to nine new members.

• Ambassador – Sign 10 or more new members.

The higher the level attained, the larger the prizes that will be awarded. Everyone who attends the event is included in a special grand prize drawing, to be announced in an upcoming Buckeye Farm News. Those who reach ambassador status automatically receive a prize, Fearon said. Volunteers must be present to win.
